5 Things We've Learned From The Cobra Kai Season 3 Trailer

As noted earlier, the trailer shows Jonny decidedly more beaten up than he was at the end of season two. What gets him in that state isn't made clear but enough clues are left in the trailer that it isn't hard to piece together.

One other character shows up bloody in this trailer and looking quite triumphant. That character is Kreese, and this lets us putting two and two together a picture begins to form. An angry (and quite possibly drunk) Johnny challenges Kreese for ownership of the dojo. While Johnny came out on top the last time they fought, this time the shoe is on the other foot, and it seems pretty clear that Kreese kicks his butt.

Then, to literally add insult to injury, it's possible and even likely that Kreese calls the police and has Jonny arrested, which is probably why we see him cooling his jets behind bars with fresh wounds in the trailer. Of course, it's also possible that he gets himself arrested at the hospital for visiting Miguel shortly after getting his butt kicked by Kreese.

Either way, it looks like Johnny has a bit more to learn.
