4. Leonard Is A Stud

Leonard started the show being attracted to Penny and we all rooted for him because he was the underdog; the nerd who couldn€™t attract the cheerleader. We felt genuinely pleased for Leonard when he finally got with Penny because he was the nice guy who always finished last and so we wanted him to succeed. It was a dynamic that worked for both the characters and audience. Of course, Leonard and Penny split up and we thought Leonard wouldn€™t be able to get another girl, he€™d have to wait for Penny again. This wasn€™t the case. He then went on to briefly be in a relationship with a rather attractive doctor who Howard introduced him to, followed by getting back together with Penny, then Raj€™s sister, Priya, then back with Penny again. Effectively, Leonard has become somewhat of a chick magnet. The point is, since getting together with Penny originally, there has been very little time when Leonard hasn€™t been in a relationship with a very attractive woman of some sort. It€™s a bit of an unrealistic character change, considering he started the show being practically unable to talk to girls at all and now he€™s getting them left, right and centre. It€™s not even a gradual character change, it€™s just a matter of Leonard can now pull whoever he wants because he had one relationship with a good looking girl.
