6 Characters The Next Breaking Bad Spin-Off Should Focus On
2. Walter White Jr.
It could be argued that Walter "Flynn" White's entire story is about learning his father (a man he was supposed to admire) is a criminal who tangentially killed his uncle (a man of the law and someone to look up to).
One of the last times we see Walter Jr, he's renounced his love for his father and delivers sickening and painful words to his fugitive dad. It's a gut-punch of a scene because it's at that moment Walter Sr. realises he has nothing left to live for, and looking back now the last thing Walter Jr. said to his father was wishing for his death.
An interesting spin-off to take would be us watching Walter Jr. deal with life after the events of the series finale. Kids being kids, Walter Jr's time at high school would no doubt suffer elements of bullying and even congratulatory celebrations for being the son of an infamous drug kingpin who used an automated turret to kill neo-nazis.
Walter Jr's high-school life would be confusing for him, and maybe focussing on him ultimately deciding if he should forgive his father or not would be the closing chapter in Walter Jr's arc.
