7 Hints That Cersei Will Die On Game Of Thrones
1. She Is Going On Trial
Cersei may have ended Season 5 safely in the loving arms of an undead behemoth, but she has some serious charges to face soon.
Lancel Lannister really pulled the rug out from under a completely unsuspecting Cersei when he decided to talk about all of her many indiscretions. He knows about all of the various forms of incest that she has taken part in, he knows that she has knowingly placed illegitimate children on the Iron Throne and he knows about/participated in her plan to murder the King on his hunting trip.
All of those things have to equal a dead Cersei if and when she is found guilty at her eventual trial.
Cersei's plan to send Margaery and Loras to trial really backfired. If there is any logic to the Laws of the Gods (and let's be honest, there might not be), their crimes are probably not seen in the same light that treason, incest and murder are seen. Cersei really put herself into a pickle by obsessively attempting to outwit that prophecy from her youth.
