America has an... interesting outlook on sex. It's a very complex relationship. And really, opinions around the whole world can be just as uptight and sometimes even damaging too.

Sex Criminals, by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky, tells the story of Suzie and Jon, who meet at a party and learn that they share a bizarre secret: their orgasms can freeze time. As numerous circumstances of life happen all around them, they ultimately come to the conclusion that they should bang and rob banks. Because, of course.

As zany as the concept sounds, the series has tackled relationships, love and yes, the twisted and messed up ways we all look at sex, both with lusty fascination and uptight condemnation, and how damaging these outlooks can be. It's a very forthright and honest series, that's also a ton of fun.

So maybe Sex Criminals could become a great HBO comedy drama. They certainly don't seem to have a problem with nudity. Or perhaps Starz, that seems to have less of a problem with equal rights nudity.

Of course, Fraction and wife Kelly Sue DeConnick did sign a deal in the past to bring some of their ideas to TV, so maybe there's some hope for this one.
