5. Where Exactly To Stab Someone In The Head So They'll Die Effectively - The Walking Dead

You know how in most zombie movies, or any movie for that matter, a simple tap with the end of your gun would kill off the zombie? Well, not in The Walking Dead. Impressively, a lot of detail is taken into where you have to hit the zombie in the head for it to die. Anywhere else, you could shoot it in the chin and it would be as good as dead (well, undead. Or is that re-dead?), but not while the likes of Greg Nicotero are on board. For example, the excellent now-orphan, Maggie Greene stabs "Riot Gear Walker" in the head, but to no avail. From that point, a lot of care must be taken into ensuring that any Riot Gear Walker is stabbed through the brain sufficiently. There is a similar example in a recent episode, "After", wherein Carl fails to effectively kill a walker he finds in a nearby house. It's okay though, he brags via chalk inscription to any other passer by that it only got his shoe. So, next time you shoot something through the brain, make sure you got it.
