According to this theory, there's more than just a €œPreviously on AMC's...€ voice-over connecting Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. In fact, the theory postulates that Breaking Bad is actually a prequel to The Walking Dead.

So what happened? Well, at the very end of Breaking Bad, Walter White's blue crystal meth is sweeping the nation, rising in popularity due to its immense purity. The catch? The meth actually causes people who use it to die, but brings them around again with suspiciously zombie-like qualities.

Throughout The Walking Dead there are a ton of Breaking Bad references, including the fact that the character Glenn drives a red Dodge Challenge incredibly similar to the one driven by Walter White. And in season two, there's clearly a shot of Walter's blue crystal meth seen in a bag of drugs. Not only that, but the character Merle Dixon describes his previous drug supplier as a €œjanky little white guy€ who uses the term €œbitch€.
