There are those who appear to watch the show just so they can complain about how shocking and appalling it all is. Even George R R Martin himself was astonished over criticism of the high levels of sex and nudity throughout the series, but not as many complaints about the brutal violence. Many believe the entire show is nothing but a twisted creation from a misogynist and a sexist. It is one show that has seen the rise of 'sexposition' which is a term first used by critic Myles McNutt, a combination of sex and exposition used commonly in scenes to allow the viewer to understand more about the character's motivation and the plot itself. So just to summarise, the Game of Thrones needs to have sex as it helps to better explain the story lines? Glad that's all understood.
