3. He Is Trustworthy

Everyone in TWD trusts Daryl. Simple as that. Whether it be for protection, for leadership, for advice or to look after little ass-kicker, he is the single most well rounded character with the most useful personality traits. The most striking thing however would seem to be that he is probably the most moral character in the show, despite his red-neck background and stereotypical attitude in the first couple of seasons. Daryl is a constant source of reminders to the group about what they stand for as human beings, and won't let them stray from the ultimate goal of surviving the nightmare that is their surroundings, even talking down Rick from making some brash moves in the past. Rick also confides in Daryl and asks for his advice on almost all decisions made for the group, as he is often the member who can give the most fair and intuitive advice, usually without costing them any of their humanity. Also, Rick and Daryl€™s relationship is the most adorable bromance, on and off screen, giving Daryl extra lovable points.
