3. His Legendary Pokemon Companionship

Speaking of Mewtwo, he's just one of any number of mythical beasts who would be happy to provide a sterling character reference for Mr Ketchum. Having encountered him on further occasions since, the duo have only strengthened their mutual respect for each other - and the cloned Pokemon is far from the only one impressed with him.

Mew, Lugia, Celebi, Latias and Latios - and they're just the ones he befriended in his early days. If there's a Legendary Pokemon out there, then the chances are they've met Ash - and in many cases, partnered with him to help prevent some earth-shattering cataclysm.

For a boy who isn't even old enough to drive, he's had his fair share of save-the-world situations. The fact he's come out of them with the appreication of some of the most powerful Pokemon to ever exist surely speaks to just how much of a Master he has become.
