His Role On The Walking Dead: Kober strolled onto the scene as Joe in the back half of season four as the leader of the Marauders - or "Claimers" - who picked up Daryl during their pursuit of Rick. Joe only appeared in a handful of episodes before his group caught up with their target in "A," though their plans to beat, murder and rape were cut short when Rick bit Joe's throat and ripped out his jugular, opening a window for the tables to be turned. His Role On The X-Files: Like Berkeley, Kober popped up in the season one episode "Ice" as Bear, the investigative team's pilot. After arriving at the compound, an infected dog attacked Mulder, but Bear intervened and was bitten instead, unknowingly becoming infected himself. Inevitably, the others discovered he was infected and attempted to help him, but the parasitic worm that had taken up residency inside of him lashed out in response to being discovered by killing Bear.
