This one is definitely a one for the ladies, the almighty Idris Elba in Luther. On set or not there's no denying that Idris is a... how should I put it; decent looking young man? But there's something about him wearing a tweed blazer paired with fitted suit trousers that draws us away from his character and leaves us wanting to know more about his wardrobe.

Although the style of Luther hasn't changed much, there's not really been the need for it to. Similarly to Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock, Luther's signature look is a to-the-knee wool coat with a raised collar, very Paul Smith 2014. 

Through the Luther series Idris doesn’t shift far from suit trousers, shirt, tie and blazer, usually this wouldn't exactly count as fashion to keep on but when you pay close attention to his outfits this is when you notice the variation in tweed jackets, the alternating coloured suit trousers to match or contrast the jacket and the all important red tie, for when things get serious.

Yes Luther is good to swoon over, but his wardrobe is subtly brilliant and clever for his character.
