The Episode: When it comes to banned television, it's generally the case that the episode in question is banned in certain territories for peculiar reasons, or airs but is subsequently pulled. Yet these episodes often initially air long enough that records of them exist. Yet the season two episode of Hawaii Five-O titled Bored, She Hung Herself is a rare example of an episode that truly seems to have been erased from existence, reportedly not airing a single time since its first broadcast.

Why It Was Banned: The plot centres around the supposed suicide of Wanda Parker, who died when trying a yoga technique that involved aerial suspension. It's believed the episode was swiftly banned owing to the fact that a viewer tried this yoga technique and also killed themselves.

This might seem unlikely, but the wife of the Leonard Freeman, the show's creator, confirmed it in 1996 at a Hawaii Five-O convention. As a result the episode has been stripped from show's annals, and has never been syndicated or made available on any video or DVD release.
