8 TV Shows So Bad They Should Be Cancelled
5. Dr. Ken
The worst thing about ABC's Dr. Ken is that it stars Ken Jeong, a genuinely talented comedic actor. You'd be forgiven for questioning that claim if all you've seen him in is The Hangover films (hey, some people find Leslie Chow funny too), but the man has a genuine knack for bringing the funny.
The news that he was starring in his own sitcom, then, was met with curiosity. After showing a surprising amount of versatility during his time working on NBC's Community, many thought the gig would be something special. Unfortunately, they were wrong.
The problem is that Jeong's character is completely unlikable. The first episode begins with him almost being fired for making fun of a sick patient, which kinda sets the tone for the series. He frequently embarrasses his daughter (and not in a funny way), at one point going so far as to track her using GPS. It's easy to see what the show is going for, but without anything to make the character endearing, it all comes off a bit psychotic.
Yet here we are: the show is just about to start its second season.
