7. Incorporate Them Into The Hydra Plot
At the moment, Agents is two different shows operating within two quite different genres. There's the underwhelming Inhumans 'monster of the week' procedural and the much more compelling 'Ward is rebuilding Hydra' spy thriller. There may be a third show soon with a 'Simmons returns to the mysterious windy planet' plot on the cards. Presumably at that point they'll lean hard into spooky sci-fi. If the show wants us to care about the Inhumans, it needs to tie their story to plots we're already interested in. Time and again, Agents has thrived when it focused on the ongoing battles with Hydra. Adding Inhumans to that mix would be an excellent start.
