9 Predictions Based On The Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer

It is clear that Dustin is not just a fan favorite, but a favorite of the writers as well. After over a year since our last encounter with new Stranger Things content, the writers chose to make Dustin the main focus of the opening sequence of the trailer.

From there, Dustin continues as a main thread that ties the rest of the trailer together. He's leading the group up the hill to set up their satellite tower. It's Dustin who Mike is talking to when saying that they can't stay in his basement playing Dungeons and Dragons forever. Dustin is visiting Steve at work, thus tying the mall plot into the trailer. Beginning to end, Dustin seems to be at the centre of it all.

Though Mike is the character most commonly associated with being the main character of the series, as the show gains its footing it has shifted to more of an ensemble cast structure. This season it looks as though Dustin may be our leading man.
