So, it wasn't exactly the d20 we were (I was) thinking, but it was an icosahedron. Same diff? The Cerritos wasn't at the Duchess for rest and relaxation either, but as the ever-growing cluster, I mean, "Glumpus," of nanites rolled its way down the auditorium and out on the town, neither was most of anyone else!

Not quite D&D, but Billups did get a dragon from his mother in the last episode Shades of Green. In The Best Exotic…, there was a whole "side quest" for him, Ransom, and Boimler to complete. And if not a dungeon, we did at least get the "Temple of Dread" and that death cave on the lazy river. Up until especially the darts, that water ride did look rather relaxing, too.

Character creation and role play also go hand-in-hand with undercover work. Billups certainly won for best spy name (before Ransom shot him down) — "Gilbert Manhandle" — and for his most gloriously unnecessary backstory. The 'final encounter' for our trio might not have been the most fearsome foe in his sandals and (somehow) sunburn, but he did provide a much-needed victory for Boimler.
