One of the most obvious events that will almost certainly happen before the credits roll for the final time is Leonard and Penny moving out of the apartment block to start a whole new chapter of their lives. It would be a big storyline for the entire gang, and would give the show a Friends-esque feel to the finale. It would be another way of showing how Sheldon has grown to gradually accept change, and if he and Amy were also move out somewhere, it would leave the main apartment empty. Or would it...?
