Adventure Time: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

The world didn't know how badly we all needed a yellow, shape-shifting dog until Jake came along.

Much like many of the shows' best characters, his humour has made him a firm fan favourite. Whether it's been witty one liners or simply farting, Jake has provided an array of laugh out loud moments and his Making Bacon Pancakes song has become the number one thing to sing to yourself while you're rustling up breakfast.

But alongside all the jokes, Jake takes the number one spot because he is always full of useful advice and input to perk Finn up when he is down and in turn pick all our spirits up in the process. Whether it's "If you get everything you want the minute you want it, what's the point in living?" or "Sucking at something is the first step to being sorta good at something" Jake has provided a generation with plenty of valuable life advice.

Jake the dog; not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.
