I know we are only a few episodes into the debut season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D TV show and while I am enjoying the series for what it is so far I can't help but want to see more. More of what you may ask? More of a connection to the Marvel comic book universe is what I am talking about. Right now all connections to the Marvel comic universe have been tangential at best with the use of incredibly obscure character names (like using Mike Peterson from the Slapstick comic as a name for Augustus Richard's character in Episode One) or mentions of Marvel comics stuff peppered into conversations. That is nice, but I want full blown storylines used on the show and lucky for Whedon and company, S.H.I.E.L.D. has a wealth of material to mine from the organizations many years of existence in comic book form. So with that being said let's get to my picks for ideas from the comics that I would like to see on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show.
