Agents Of Shield: 10 MCU Cameos We'd Love To See

1. Star-Lord

And finally we come to Star-Lord. No, I don't think he is the best character on the list, but I'd say he is the one most should want to appear. Chris Pratt is set to play him in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy, and is a brand-new leading character to be introduced into the MCU. In the comics, Peter Quill is an orphan who's mother was killed by an alien. Fate conspired to lead him down the path of becoming an astronaut. During his time at a NASA space station, an alien entity approached his crew and offered the role of a galactic police officer to one of them. Rejected, Quill was re-called to Earth where he was discharged from his job. Enraged and jealous, the character found his way back to the space station where he stole the mantle, replaced his co-worker, and became Star-Lord. In the upcoming film, Star-Lord is already space-bound, and it is unknown at this time if his earthly origins are going to be a part of the story at all. All said, I think it would be really cool if they used an arc of the S.H.I.E.L.D. series to show his origins story before sending him off on his own. Pratt himself is a TV veteran that is known for his work on Everwood and Parks and Recreation. It shouldn't be too hard to tie him down for a couple episodes worth of shooting, and it would most certainly pay off. So that's what I think. What do you think? Feel free to comment!

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
