Agents Of SHIELD Season 3: 10 Major Predictions

8. Lots More Of Grant Ward

As a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., Grant Ward was a pretty by-the-numbers agent. Obviously he was a very accomplished one, but he wasn't a particularly captivating character. That all changed when his double-crossing nature was revealed, and he became a dangerous foe for them.

Since then he's hopped back-and-forth between wanting to help the team, and wanting to destroy them, and Brett Dalton handles the dual nature of his character extremely well. However, he's much more fun as a villain.

Thankfully that seems to be the route they're going down this year, with Ward taking charge of what remains of Hydra. There wasn't enough of the character last year, but there's a chance for him to become a really awesome bad-guy across the entire season this time around. Fuelled by the death of Agent 33, he may not be the absolute Big Bad, but he'll still be a deadly and entertaining enemy, hopefully building to a big face-off between him and Agent May (once she gets back off vacation, anyway).
