Agents Of SHIELD Season 3: 10 Questions We're Asking After Laws Of Nature

2. What Are Lash's Motives?

After a shadowy teaser, the season premiere finally lets Lash off the leash. He's introduced in the hospital, presumably there because of Lincoln, and he's shown to be pretty powerful as Daisy, Lincoln, and Mack all struggle to deal with him (sidenote: can someone please get Mack a shotgun/ax combination?).

Not much else is actually revealed about him though, so there's a lot to explore about the character in the coming episodes. Clearly he is the one who has been killing Inhumans, but why? Before the season started it was expected that he might actually be working with the ATCU, but given they believe it's S.H.I.E.L.D. responsible that doesn't seem to be the case.

In the comics he only kills Inhumans he deems 'unworthy', but will that be the case in the show? There's also the matter of where he's from, as he doesn't seem to be one of the recently turned humans, and whether he's just working for himself, or if there's someone higher-up he answers to.
