3. Fitz Will Regain His Previous Abilities

One of the most tragic events from the end of the first season is the sacrifice that Fitz makes in order to save Simmons. Knowing that he will quite possibly die, he expresses his feelings to Simmons and then sends them both to the surface of the ocean with Fitz being put into a coma due to lack of oxygen. Since those events, the relationship between Fitz and Simmons has been strained, mostly due to Fitz's inability to cope with his new reality. He was one of the most brilliant people on Earth, and now he has a hard time finishing a sentence. While he is still able to contribute to the team, he is not the scientist that he once was. Desperate to get back his former self, he will do something drastic (Kree blood perhaps?) that will (at least temporarily) restore him to his previous mental and physical abilities. How this will affect his relationship with Simmons is yet to be seen. He may have already ruined any chances at a romantic relationship, no matter what his abilities are.
