American Horror Story: 10 Questions We Have For The Coven/Murder House Crossover
2. Will The Anti-Christ Child Play A Part?
Again, most of the American Horror Story seasons have ended rather well. The likes of Asylum, Freak Show, Roanoke and Hotel wrapped everything up in a bow, as did Coven. Whether they ended happily or melancholically, the stories have always had a definitive ending, which is what makes Murder House unique, as it remains the only season to conclude on a wide-open cliffhanger. Although the Harmon family got their happy-ever-after with their new baby, Vivien's other child - aka the Anti-Christ - is alive and well.
The villainous Constance Langdon (Jessica Lange) adopted the baby (although the child is technically her grandson as the ghostly iteration of Tate sired him), and we saw the child starting to show signs of the devil within. Constance returned home from the hairdressers to find the nanny murdered and the evil child sitting on a nearby rocking chair, covered in blood. Constance smiled as she contemplated what to do next. But we never found out what came next. This was how we said goodbye to the Murder House universe once and for all - or so we thought.
In reality, it was inevitable that we would return to this world once more, as there is much more story to tell where the Anti-Christ is concerned. Now that seven years have passed, the child would be much older, and as a result, he might be even more villainous. Seeing the Anti-Christ causing havoc would be the perfect reason to bring the witches of New Orleans over to Los Angeles to try and combat the evil.
