American Horror Story: 10 Reasons Asylum Is The Best Season
1. The Name Game
Pfffft, a musical episode, in American Horror Story? What is this, Buffy? Where a musical number may seem like Ryan Murphy got his horror anthology confused with his other show, Glee, it actually worked. Across six seasons, The Name Game is definitely one of the show's most-memorable scenes, and is undeniably a highlight of Asylum.
Although it was a segway into Murphy's lighter sense of humour, including The Name Game still stuck with the horror of the asylum. While some pass it off as a fun little inclusion, it actually represents the madness of Sister Jude when she finds herself committed to her own asylum. Plus, if you ever needed anymore of a reason to think that Jessica Lange was the best thing to happen to the show, check her out in the blue dress and bouffant blonde wig. Evan Peters can't dance for toffee, but I will let that one slide. Every season has its campy little moments, but The Name Game probably wins it as pure unadulterated cheese.
