American Horror Story: 6 Iconic Horror Actors Who Should Star

2. Bruce Campbell

A fan favorite and great horror icon if there ever was one. Known for his role as Ash in the Evil Dead series, Bruce Campbell would be a welcome choice to joining the cast of American Horror Story. In terms, Campbell is almost like the horror version of Nathan Fillion. He never gets the roles people want him in, he is in fan-casts for a lot of roles, and he is in all terms, an incredible actor. He even kind of looks like Fillion in a way. For introducing Campbell onto the show, I think he should play a protagonist character who knows about supernatural elements, which would in ways be an Easter egg to his character in Evil Dead. He works well with an ensemble cast, which American Horror Story seems to do, and would be well suited to any part. He could play the witty protagonist that everyone loves, or he could play a full fledged villain who you can't help but love. When both of those options end up with you loving the actor, that isn't a bad thing. Hate to say it, but this casting would be..groovy.
