American Horror Story: 7 Suggestions For Where Season 3 Should Be Set

4. High School

High School's are a popular feature of most traditional American Horror Stories, and though very few are the stories main focus, a High School features in most slasher type horror movies for example Halloween, Scream etc. , and is pretty much (or at least was in the first 3 seasons) the main focus of my favorite show of all time, a show which completely subverted the traditional American Horror conventions on its head, Buffy The Vampire Slayer . A High School would have the potential to be either great, or boring and unimaginable, but considering this is a Ryan Murphy show, setting the show in a High School could be pretty interesting for a few reasons. First of all, I bet many of you already think Ryan Murphy has one horror show set in a High School on air already, Glee, and doesn't need another one, and this is a fair point (though I actually love Glee so don't agree). Setting this show in a High School however could be the perfect antidote for people who hate Glee, or just for people who can't handle the sickly sweet gleefulness of Glee without a bring down. This show could also parody Glee somewhat, and knowingly take the mickey of the show, perhaps even including its own warped musical number. OK, so admittedly this is probably the least likely suggestion on the list, especially as long as Glee is on air, but even then, I doubt Ryan Murphy would even consider this idea. However, the setting is perfect for an "American Horror Story" type show, and the many staff needed to run a school would be perfect for the ensemble cast of a show like this one. That said, the show could become perhaps too much like every other show on air set in a highschool, and this show needs to be uniquely weird to draw an audience. Plus, I can't personally think of a monster (vampire, werewolf etc. etc.) that hasn't been done to death on TV, particularly within this setting. Moving on...

My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
