American Horror Story: Apocalypse - 6 Major Questions Raised By The Finale
1. Is The Apocalypse Unstoppable?
The birth of another Antichrist, questionable though its conception may have been, suggests big repercussions for the AHS universe. Even if this new one is defeated, if Satan can just willingly make more children his spawn, can the end of the world really be stopped?
There’s no other way for this to work out. If new kids can become the Antichrist once another is killed, the devil has the fate of the world in his grasp. No matter what the witches do, no matter how many Antichrists they stop, they can't stop the will of Satan.
Could this be how the series ends? Is doomsday an inevitability? Will they be in an infinite loop of timelines where an Antichrist ends the world, they stop it, then a new one pops up and they're doomed to repeat this process forever? Eventually, they’d have to realize it can’t be stopped.
There's no backing the show out of this one. No matter what comes next, as long as the spawn of Satan is out there set on destroying the world, nothing can be done to prevent the inevitable.
