American Horror Story: Apocalypse - 6 Ups & 1 Down From 'Boy Wonder'
3. Misty Day's Return
American Horror Story might've won a string of awards over the years, but that's not to say the anthology series is without its faults. In fact, there have been quite a few occasions when the series proved disappointing. The unwarranted death of Misty Day is a prime example - a creative decision that was made worse by the fact that the gypsy witch was one of the warmest characters the show had ever seen.
The news of a Coven/Murder House crossover meant that Murphy and Falchuk could rectify this error, and that's exactly what happened in Boy Wonder. Misty's revival couldn't have been more perfect, and the strong script made up for the show killing her off all those years ago. In other words: it was absolutely worth the wait.
For being a horror series, AHS certainly knows how to tug on those heartstrings. Over the years we've seen many a heart-breaking moment, such as Sister Jude's death in Asylum, or The Countess aiding Liz Taylor's transition to the other side in Hotel, but Misty Day's return to the show will now reign supreme at the very top of that list.
