3. The Old Haunts

Speaking of returning to the past, American Horror Story's little trip down memory lane brought viewers back to some of the anthology series' most iconic locations. As noted earlier, a surprising visit to the Hotel Cortez took place during the episode, and it proved to be a superb moment. The creepy hallways were as creepy as ever (perhaps even more so) and it was as if it were 2015 again and we were entering the doors of the Hotel for the first time.

Same goes for Miss Robichaux's Academy. The brief scene, in which we paid a visit to the witchy school, ended up being a highlight of the episode. The signature Coven theme tune played over the sequence as viewers were invited into the charming building once more. A truly goosebump-inducing moment.
