11. Spalding's Dedication

Spalding is an exceptionally loyal friend to Fiona and what could be a better way to show someone that you're truly on their side by cutting your tongue out for them? Dedicated to Fiona, Spalding helped her dispose of the body of Anna, the current Supreme that Fiona murdered in order to take over her reign. Despite the blood on her hands, Fiona pleads innocence to the Council who are questioning her about Anna's demise. Myrtle, Fiona's rival has the ability to detect lies and confronts Fiona about it. Myrtle knows of the relationship between Fiona and Spalding and uses her powers to enchant his tongue, making him unable to ever tell lies which is rather convenient. Knowing that they were going to get found out, Spalding tells Fiona that he has always loved her, before cutting his tongue off with a razor blade. Watching him cut out his tongue sent shivers down your spine and you probably touched the roof of your mouth to make sure your tongue was still safely inside.
