3. Fiona Goode (Coven)
Fiona Goode was Jessica Lange's best character, and certainly remains one of the show's best villains. She wasn't a spoilt serial killer or tortured soul; she also wasn't a dictator or ghostly spirit of vengeance.
No, Fiona was an all-powerful witch, the coven's Supreme who in her twilight years had begun to lose her powers and lose her grip on reality. Within Coven, she tried desperately to hang onto her power, even if it meant siding with Delphine LaLaurie or betraying her own daughter.
Fiona wasn't as overtly evil as the larger personalities in the vast AHS canon, but her desire for self preservation and personal glory easily made her one of the most memorable and intimidating.
