Ultimately it boils down to this: Arrested Development season four is innovative and funny, and its great to reacquaint ourselves with the Bluth family after so many years. Fans of the original show will enjoy it. But its not likely to build a following thats not already on board.
With season four in the can theres still talk of a feature film. As early as 2008 Ron Howard was committed to direct, but the jury is still out on that one. Will it happen? Its still too early to tell. In the meantime, if youre a fan, enjoy the latest adventures of the Bluth family. While not extraordinary, it does manage to maintain its sense of absurdity and self-deprecating humor and is sure to entertain.
