Arrow: 10 Best Moments So Far

"I will drive an arrow through his eye..."

Airing on The CW network, then known for its soapy dramas, and based on a relatively minor DC comic book that people didn't take too seriously, Arrow has managed to defy all expectations in its three seasons (and counting). In that time it has successfully managed to become one of the very best superhero shows on TV, showing what they could do and where they could go long before Marvel decided to get in on the act. It's now even paved the way for two spin-offs, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, while Supergirl - although on a different channel - has many of the same staff, and probably wouldn't have happened if not for the popularity of Arrow. The show has gone through an awful lot of storylines and characters, especially in season 1 when it was happy to kill off any number of villains, and has seen many transitions, from the Hood to the Arrow, and the team growing from just Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity to encompass at various points the likes of Roy, Sara, Laurel, Nyssa, and even the first season's villain Malcolm Merlyn. With so much happening, it has understandably provided a lot of memorable moments. The show really delivers on the action front, with some pretty epic fight sequences, but it also excels in the quieter moments, the ones that really make you feel emotion about these fictional characters. It's this blend of superhero action and more typical CW drama that makes the show what it is, and these are the best moments from the three seasons so far.
