Arrow: 10 Characters That Totally Need To Be Introduced

7. Onyx

One of the biggest female superheroes in the DC universe, outside of Wonder Woman, Onyx has a tremendous storyline that would fit in perfectly with Arrow. Onyx was once an important member of the League of Assassins but then she retired from that life and joined the Ashram Monastery- where a certain Green Arrow had once belonged too. She then had countless battles with Barricade and sought out Green Arrow's help, before then teaming up with the likes of Batman and Wonder Woman. As the League Of Assassins has already been introduced to the show it won't take much effort for Onyx to be introduced. Her involvement with the monastery means that she could also easily be implemented into the flashbacks from Oliver's past, which are a huge part of the storyline. Of course, this would have to be once he's left the island he currently occupies. From there we can expect to see flashbacks of his travels which would answer a few more questions on his back story and journey to becoming the vigilante. Onyx would be a great character to introduce to this area, before bringing her to the current day Slade Wilson style. She could also clash with Black Canary, I could see Sara getting upset when a new ass-kicking female showed up in Starling City. Onyx could also be a previous love-interest for Oliver.
