Arrow: 12 Mind-Blowing Fan Theories You Won't Believe

12. The Resurrection Of Sara Lance

The death of Sara Lance - for the second time - was a major plot device for season 3, used to spark the whole Oliver vs Ra€™s al Ghul arc. It also cast a pretty grim shadow over the characters, one that remained there for the majority of the season. Just like Chumbawumba though, you're never gonna keep her down, and she€™s set to get up again having been confirmed to appear in DC€™s Legends of Tomorrow, albeit now known as White Canary. So just how was she resurrected, given that this time she was definitely dead? The theory is that Malcolm Merlyn, now installed as the new Ra€™s, brings her back to life using the Lazarus Pit. This could be his attempt at trying to make peace, not least with League member Nyssa, who isn€™t exactly pleased with his rise to the position of Demon€™s Head. The problem with that is whether or not the waters of the Pit would work when her body had been dead for so long. To work around this, there€™s belief that Rip Hunter (the time-traveller set to be played by Arthur Darvill in Legends of Tomorrow) went back in time to just after Sara€™s death, steals her body and takes it to Nanda Parbat. It€™s a somewhat convoluted route to bringing the character back, but given where the shows are headed with time-travel it€™s one that isn€™t out of the question.
