Combatants: The Hood vs. Adam Hunt and goons

What Happened: After the failure of his attempt to coerce corrupt millionaire Adam Hunt into $40 million in scammed money, Oliver ziplines into Hunt Multinational and cuts off the lights. With the crook stranded, Oliver in his hood and leather shreds his way through a hallway of goods, bursts through the glass walls of Hunt's office, and gets up close and personal with Hunt's personal bodyguard.

Spoiler alert: the fight does not end well for the bodyguard.

Oliver then surprises the swarming cops by leaping out of a window and ziplining to safety, a trick arrow left behind to electronically swindle $40 million from Hunt’s cyber-coffers. Thus, the Hood of Starling City was born.

Why It Was Great: The battle of one against many at Hunt Multinational was the first glimpse of how deadly Oliver could be. While the swipe of green paint over his eyes wasn’t nearly adequate to realistically conceal his identity, the lack of a proper mask allowed the camera to show that Stephen Amell himself was beneath the hood. It was a grand and terrifying introduction to the Hood.

Winners: The Hood and fans of leather pants
