Season by season, Oliver Queen is beginning to resemble his comic book counterpart more and more. In the pilot episode, Ollie wore a black costume with green face paint and went under the alias, the Vigilante. Over the course of season 1, he switched his costume from black to a dark green. Finally this season, he has dropped the Vigilante name and adopted the Arrow. At least it is closer to Green Arrow. At the end of the mid-season finale, the moment Green Arrow fans had been waiting for finally occurred. The green face paint which didn't do much to conceal his identity was finally written out for the iconic domino mask. In the show, Barry Allen is the reason for his identity change. Now that we have the mask, we just need to patiently wait for the long hair, beard and mustache, and of course "Green Arrow".
