6. John Barrowman
John Barrowman portrayed fan favourite Malcolm Merlyn, who was also known as the Dark Archer. In varying frequencies, John appeared in seven of Arrow's eight seasons and was the series' first villain.
Malcolm always remained at odds with Oliver but he was certainly a love-to-hate character. In season two, it was revealed that Malcolm was Thea's father, an event which secured a tenuous truce between Malcom and Team Arrow. The character died in season five but John continued to appear as his multiverse counterparts.
Known for his presenting work in the UK, John can currently be seen as a judge on Dancing on Ice and as the presenter of All Star Musicals. The actor starred in the 2018 series I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! which provided some memorable TV moments.
In 2019, John released a Christmas album titled A Fabulous Christmas and he continues to regularly tour. In early 2021, John reprised his role as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who.
However, this year also saw Barrowman come under fire due to resurfaced videos alleging indecent exposure on the Doctor Who set, which has resulted in the actor being dropped from his usual TV gigs.
