Arrow Season 4: 9 Characters Who Need To Die

7. Nyssa Al Ghul

Arrow John Barrowman
The CW

The daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, or at least the man who possessed the title throughout Season 3, Nyssa has been both friend and foe of Team Arrow, although largely erring towards the latter.

She was the lover of Sara Lance, has helped to train Laurel, and is now technically married to Oliver Queen. Quite what the legal position of Nada Parbat weddings is hasn’t been made clear, but it may be something that needs clearing up later down the line.

When her father died, Nyssa was overlooked as the new leader of the League of Assassins in favour of Malcolm Merlyn, much as she would’ve been had Oliver taken up the position. However, as a fully-fledged assassin, born-and-raised within confines of Nada Parbat, she doesn’t really have a natural place outside it. That conflict makes her a difficult character, and her struggle to find where she belongs could necessitate her eventual death, particularly if she were to challenge Malcolm’s authority.
