Arrow Season 4: 12 Questions We're Asking After 'Lost Souls'

9. How Will Flashback Oliver Get Out Of The Mess He's In?

In a surprising turn of events, the flashbacks were actually really good this week. Maybe that's just indicative of the messy nature of the rest of the episode, whereas the flashbacks felt a bit more structured narratively, but what happened in them was interesting regardless of the present day storyline. In this week's instalment of 'Oliver and Conklin explore the island', they're tasked with taking a team of labourers to the water and digging to find something for Baron Reiter. Once again Conklin shows his distrust of Oliver, and makes his move when they break for lunch. He convinces one of the workers to attack Oliver, and try to kill him, which results in Ollie snapping the poor guy's neck as everyone else looks on. As Conklin says, he's going to have some job explaining his way out of this one. Just how is he going to come back from this against Conklin and the workers, who'll all no doubt speak against him. And what about the women he's keeping alive on the island - how much longer is that going to stay a secret?
