Arrow Season 4: 12 Questions We're Asking After The Mid-Season Finale
3. Why Didn't Oliver Have Security?
Oliver finally gets around to proposing to Felicity this week, after being interrupted all those months ago by Thea and Laurel. Of course, this being the mid-season finale of Arrow, they couldn't let things end on that happy moment. Instead, as they drive off, they're surrounded by Ghosts, who unleash a torrent of bullets into their car. Already in this episode, though, Darhk had launched two big attacks on Oliver and the people of Star City, at the bay and the party. The first took them by complete surprise, but they specifically had extra security for the party because of the threat of Darhk. Why, then, didn't they have any when they drove off? After two attacks, and the knowledge that Darhk would be out for further retribution, surely they knew just the two of them - plus a driver - might be a risky idea?
