Arrow Season 4: 16 WTF Moments From 'Restoration'

Because sometimes bringing the dead back to life isn't always a good idea.

With last week's The Candidate seeing Oliver Queen announce his Mayoral intentions and giving us a further look at Damien Darhk, Restoration saw us take some of the action over to Nanda Parbat. As Laurel Lance and Thea Queen have a dead Canary and questions on Thea's bloodlust with them, we again get to see Ra's al Ghul's famed Lazarus Pit make an appearance. Of course, we should know by now that when a Lazarus Pit is involved, things don't usually tend to go all the well, as is the case here as a feral and ferocious Sara Lance returns from the grave. Then there's the action back over in Star City, where Damien Darhk has newcomer Double Down doing his dirty work and making life difficult for Green Arrow. If trying to rebuild bridges with Diggle wasn't hard enough for Ollie, he's now got to deal with a rogue who can literally use his tattoos as a weapon. Luckily for these one-time bestest buds, all would seemingly be sunshines and rainbows by the time the episode came to a close. Thanks to this, whilst Restoration may have completely ignored Ollie's Mayoral decision, it did still manage to give us plenty of shocks, surprises, references and even a few face-palming moments.

16. Reluctant Killers?

So this new threat that has reared its head, The Ghosts, have the perfect chance to kill Diggle yet choose against it? This was certainly a head-scratching move considering how the previous two episodes have been spent bigging up what savage, unstoppable (and unfindable) murderers Damien Darhk€™s Ghosts are. Gone was the clinical edge as one of said Ghosts had a gun pointing in Digg€™s face from close range. Instead, Diggle was left alone and the apparent mercenary ran off. It was certainly a strange way to try and solidify one of the new threats of this new season.
