Sure, the promo work for Arrows mid-season return pretty much ruined the fate of Felicity, but it felt a little flat and too soon to see her back in the land of the living after literally 3 minutes of the shows return episode. The big cliffhanger over Felicity was the biggest shocker of the mid-season finale, and it wouldve been good to see this element of the show stretched out a bit more. Granted, it looks as if the life of Felicity Smoak has been changed forever due to severe nerve damage, but the answer of whether she actually survived the assault from Darhks men could have been held off on for just a bit longer. This was a little similar to how Season 3s mid-season finale saw Oliver Queen killed by Ras al Ghul, as in ran through with a sword and then kicked off a huge cliff. Dead. Totally, totally dead. Well, until he was all alive and well by the time the show returned for its Season 3 mid-season premiere.
