Arrow Season 4: 6 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Genesis'
10. Esrin Fortuna
Whilst many were maybe hoping for her to be the show’s take on DC fan-favourite Zatanna, Esrin Fortuna was a hugely enjoyable addition to the ranks of The CW’s Emerald Archer-centric show.
As Oliver seeks the assistance of John Constantine, Hellblazer points him in the direction of a casino and tasks him with some hush-hush words. It soon becomes clear that Esrin Fortuna is the person Ollie seeks, and she was certainly a unique and impressive character, full of a wry charisma as she looks to help Oliver obtain the magical powers needed to take down Damien Darhk.
Unfortunately, Fortuna tasked Ollie as having too much darkness within him to be able to become infused with magic. Regardless, Esrin was a character perfectly utilized for this episode, with her bringing a hypnotic charm to the outing… even if she definitely, definitely was not just a Zatanna stand-in. Honest.
