Arrow Season 4: Ranking Every Character’s Chance Of Dying

9. Felicity Smoak

Felicity was considered the favourite to be in the grave by many, because her death would have the most impact on Oliver. He vowed that he would kill the person who did this, and it was difficult to imagine anyone else's death leading him to go back on his no kill rule. While all of that's certainly true, it overlooked a couple of details. First of all, there was the appearance of Barry at the grave. He'd missed the funeral, and while apologetic, wasn't exactly torn up over the death. Of all the Arrow characters, Felicity is the one he's been closest to, so it wouldn't make sense for him to appear so calm and collected at her headstone. Then there's the fact that Felicity is Jewish - something the show actually played up in later episodes, as if to really make sure the audience got the hint - and custom dictates her burial wouldn't take place until a year after her death, so it didn't fit the timeline. These arguments were all put to bed in the mid-season premiere, when the flashforward showed some extra footage, and it included Felicity very much alive. While it threw up some questions about the state of her and Oliver's relationship, and added one candidate very near the top of the list, it also means that she definitely isn't the one who dies this year. Likelihood Of Dying: 0/10 (unless there's a MAJOR twist)
