One of Season 5's new recruits, Rene Ramirez, or Wild Dog, has had the most character development of the additions to Team Arrow this year, transitioning from the ill-tempered, act-first-think-later vigilante we first meet to an important member of the team, who has earned Oliver's trust and respect and, on both a personal and crimefighting level, became a well-rounded part of the show.

With his own personal struggles, there would be room for an emotional send-off were they to kill the character in the finale, but it's probably far too soon for that. He's proven his worth, but there's still room for more to come from him, and actor Rick Gonzalez has been confirmed as a series regular for Season 6.
