Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 2: 10 Things To Look Forward To

1. Ash Having Learned Absolutely Nothing

Ash vs. Evil Dead might actually be the one show where character development is frowned upon, at least when it comes to the titular character of Ash Williams.

They "why" behind this is simple: Ash is a lot more fun when he's being his cocky, arrogant, oblivious self. Were he to ever outgrow those traits, well, frankly, Ash's story would be over. So for those cheering for a few more season for Ash vs. Evil Dead, character growth is the enemy. We need Ash to continue stumbling forward, feeling his way through situations (or just blasting through them) rather than doing any sort of proper planning.

Season two looks like it will continue that trend. There's Ash, chugging a beer while driving, having learned nothing. There's his bravado, shoot first ask questions never style.

So oddly, the biggest thing to look forward to in Ash vs. Evil Dead season two is Ash being Ash. Which is a very good thing.

Oh, and apparently, he gets a monkey puppet. We smell spin-off!
