Batman: The Animated Series: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

Maggie Page appears in Eternal Youth as Alfred's girlfriend, with the pair showing how close they are during the runtime of the episode. While she appears only once in the series, she seems to have a profound affect on Alfred, as she manages to get him to let loosen up a little and relax.

Obviously, as the butler and fatherly figure to Batman, Alfred does not receive much time to relax, so the two take a retreat to the Eternal Youth Spa in place of Bruce Wayne. Maggie wants to see Alfred be more relaxed and to get out of the house, so when she sees Pennyworth enjoying their stay they decide to go back for another weekend.

Unfortunately, the youth spa is not all that it seems as it is being run by villainess Poison Ivy, who uses the location as a front to turn people who damage the environment into plants.

While we never see Maggie again - potentially due to the trauma of being turned into a tree - it was nice to see a character who was able to give Alfred a run for his money and leave him flustered and smitten.
